What Is Pass Plus?

Pass Plus is a scheme for new drivers that gives you additional experience and a discount on your car insurance.

Why More Driver Training?

As a new driver your more likely to have an accident in the first year after passing your driving test than at any other time in your motoring career. Lack of experience means that you can be as much as 2 seconds slower than a practiced motorist in recognising danger and that could be the 2 seconds difference between life and death. Young and new drivers are especially vulnerable. They hold only 10% of licenses, but they are involved in 20% of road accidents in which someone is injured.

What Does Pass Plus Training Involve?

When you have passed your driving test you can enroll with one of our Intensive Driving UK Pass Plus driving instructors who will take you through 6 specially designed Pass Plus training sessions.

These cover driving:

• In town
• Out of town
• In all weather
• At night
• On dual carriageways
• On motorways

What Are The Benefits For Me?

The most important benefit is that you will be a safer driver, having completed the Pass Plus course but another benefit is the saving on car insurance. These vary but some insurers will offer you up to 30% discount off initial premiums.

For example:

Initial premium = £800

Less discount (30%) = £240
